We had a wonderful cooking experience with Antonella and her family. With her expert guidance, we prepared pasta con I broccoli, spitini palermitani and biscotti di mandorle and enjoyed it with her family. It was a great cultural and cooking event. We would highly recommend on your visit to Palermo.

I just returned home after a long trip to Sicily and I must say that my time with Ms. Antonella and her family was one of the highlights of my time in Sicily. She opened her home to me and my mother and her family was extremely warm and generous. I loved learning how to make arancine. It was amazing time and I will never forget it

Dinner with Antonella and her family in Misilmeri near Palermo was magical. My friends and I were truly a part of Antonella's family for an evening full of laughter, stories and typical Sicilian food cooked by a wonderful chef Antonella. There was such a great variety of beautiful food and local specialties Antonella served to us. Freshness of vegetables and fruits were unbeatable as they were picked up from Antonella's garden. Antonella's family made us feel so welcome in their house that we forgot we were tourists in Palermo, far from our own homes and families. I highly recommend Antonella as a host, as the dinner cooked by Antonella and friendly, relaxed atmosphere in her house will remain for me and my friends an unforgettable evening of great Italian food and friendship.

What a delightful evening we spent with Cesarina Antonella and her family. We felt like we had entered the home of our family! We were treated so kindly (molto gentile, grazie) by everyone. Our hosts offered to serve us dinner in their salon, eating privately, but also gave us the option to eat together. Being invited to sit and eat with the family at their dining room table was an overwhelming emotional experience. Needless to say, the food was so delicious. The brief but rewarding time in the kitchen with Antonella was a true learning experience. I can't wait to try the fried pumpkin recipe here at home! We have a beautiful picture with the entire family; a beautiful keepsake memory of one of the best evenings of my life. After dinner we sat, chatted (as best we could - they were much more proficient in English than we were in Italian - but we all made an effort) and shared in a glass of Marsala. Antonella's youngest son and I made the "musicians' connection, he even played for us! We even made friends on our Facebook pages. I look forward to following his career. Did I say it felt like we had come upon family in this faraway land? I can only give an "extremely high" thumbs up to Cesarina Antonella and recommend to anyone spending time in Palermo to reserve an evening with this bella famiglia! E grazie mille cersarine.it!!!
